Roles are indeed accounted when earning points (but perhaps not enough), and the arena rankings remain a complete sham. Even with two devices and two different IP addresses, it's impossible to play at the same arena table if the two IP addresses are geographically close. This seems pretty well done....

The dates are given in advance and everyone does it according to their availability. You can play it fully, halfway or not at all, as you wish.
