I think you’re reading intent into this that isn’t there. I’m not assuming people can’t handle losing, and I’m not projecting my own enjoyment onto them. I was describing a personal emotional response to winning in certain contexts and asking if others relate.

Fair comparison, but I think games and boxing land a bit differently for me 😅 I enjoy competing, just not at the expense of someone else clearly having a bad time. Was curious if others felt the same.

No,that does not effect me outside of board games.Beside this not a chess website so i dont really care about the elo since its really incorrect :D

I dunno i just feel bad even for players who are up to my level if i won more than 2 times(not always of course)

Sometimes when I win a game, especially a close one or against newer players, I don’t really feel proud—I actually feel a bit bad for the others.Or when i win against a player more than 2 times and they say something like:''Well done you win again..'' i dont know why but i just feel guitly i genuine...
