Re: Changes in this game

Alongside cutting the talking during the night, players who have been killed should instantly be denied access to the chat of the living. This just happened in a game where the FT was killed by werewolves but because they were in love with the hunter was able to comment at dawn to pass on informatio...

Re: ELO system is terrible

I question whether displaying ELO is necessary? I suspect a person's ELO can adversely affect his chances of surviving the first night. I've noticed werewolves targeting the player with a higher or the highest ELO. I can understand why because a high ELO implies they are good at solving the case and...

Re: Leaving Hanabi when things are not perfect

I would like to also have a minimum of +1 elo for getting 30 on very difficult. Right now if two players have 1000 elo each, their outcome is from -10 for a loss to 0 for a win. Perhaps the ELO awarded should reflect a win whatever the final total may be in another effort to curtail those who aband...

Re: Option to turn off log

Actually for Jaipur, only the few last logs are visible, the others fade away (not saying this is a solution for tarot, just so that you can look at it and see if it's interesting or not). Thanks for giving it some thought - I'd forgotten about Jaipur (much like I'd forgotten about my thread, so so...

Option to turn off log

I was wondering if there was an option to turn off the log for card games such as tarot, belote, hearts etc.? I know irl many people are a stickler to the rules in which only a last trick can be seen, with the discard pile face down. When some players seem to take a long time over their turn in a ca...

Re: Leaving Hanabi when things are not perfect

I so agree! The system implemented is not fit for purpose in this game unfortunately. There are so many players on BGA that seem wound up about their ELO points in hanabi; it is so comical. They get their inflated points via stealth and deception and refuse to play the impossible deals, which in my ...

Re: Option to disable the chatfilter and its associated pop-ups

I'm not sure it works either for the reasons above but also those who swear and insult other players don't seem to care and continue to do so. Then as their rep falls, they set up a new account. This has been pointed out to me a while ago, as you can detect the players who set up a new account and t...

Halicarnassus

Firstly, thank-you so much for bringing a fan favourite to BGA. Such a great game! I have a question about Halicarnassus. IRL when we've played with this board and built one of the ages, then the discard pile also includes the cards discarded that turn so that if you build at the end of an era you g...

Re: Ready for it?

Best news! The font looks the same, it's not April the first so I'd say the only thing left is to see if it is multiplayer or duel!

Re: Please make DIXIT !!

There is a website that did Dixit online - if you google, you may stumble across it. The name is in French but I feel it wouldn't be right to post it here on a competitors website. I also can't guarantee they still offer it, it's been many years since I went there and their games are not carried out...
