Under the old system, if someone afk'd while in Arena queue, they suffer a ratings penalty for a loss, which is a disincentive to not do it. Does anybody know what this error is about? The bug has been reported over 1 year ago and nobody has done anything about it. It happens randomly only for Bang! in the arena.

In your scenario the renegate would lose, I don't see the need of penalising him further, he has already lost because he has not understood his role.
