I just played this terrible game, my opponent hoarding all 5 critical gems, meanwhile I'm stuck with just taking 3 coins and discard 3 coins for 12 turns straight, and my opponent is perfectly fine and get out with a win. If this issue is still here without further fix, I think I'll quit this game ...
