I was in a 4 player game , player 3 didn't make a move so player 4 got the win purely because they hadn't used up any of their time yet...

Added to this, "pairings" for events with more than 2 people at a table are very complicated. A modified swiss is possible if you allocate points based on placing (5-3-2-1 being my preferred because it emphasises winning more). But you also have the added complication that the more players...
