This method is extremely efficient. It also removes a lot of ambiguity. The traditional conventions can easily be misread. The only issue is making sure to not double clue cards. But with more than one to say the same thing, it gives flexibility.

We Just played a 3p game. A situation occurred where a player was locked into zugzwang by a Red clue (don't discard anything). There were no playable cards to clue, but any clue given by them would tell us not to discard. Therefore, we had no way for that player to do nothing.
