My understanding is that you are offered the option to decline when the other opponent is busy with another real time game.

Not a real time, but if they are in another turn base game, arena game is waiting for theirs return to main page.

You can't. In Arena you can restrict only by leagues. It would be nice to have in Arena similar restriction as in Simple game.

Hello, There seems to have been some kind of error on server 5 around 9:00 today. Probably as a consequence there was some sort of error in the game where I can't make a move or offer to abandon the game. The only thing that was possible was switching to turn base mode where the problem persists. Ha...

It looks like all qualification turnaments are already in progress or finished. I saw nothing here or on Bombyx Facebook and on their discord is only announcement in French

Problem with choosing number of players by Gurus is that if you play only 2p games it is much easier to became the Guru. As a result even with 10%-20% players who are prefering the 2p game it could be 2p in Arena.

I think that waiting screen apears in case when player in still online but in another turn base game.

For Arena you can restrict only opponents arena level or reputation. It reduces number of games agains too strong or too weak opponents but it is far from perfect.

Hello. I was in tournament game that was abandoned just before the end because of time limit (next tournament round was starting).
Is there any easy way how to look at situation on table in the moment the game closed and/or see how much time each player really spend?

I am affraid that any "average time" related info on BGA have questionable information value. In statistics they have mixed real time and turn base games so final number is meaningless for both types of game. And "estimated waiting time" in arena games have max value 10min (even ...
