Just wondering if anyone else does this... In season 15, I started tracking how many games I could get to elite. That season, I reached elite in 13 games. Starting Survival card

I don't see anything in the rules of Not Alone that the hunted start with a survival card. Did I miss a rule and I've been playing it wrong at home, was the card added to help in the debugging of survival cards by getting more of them played, or was this a tweak to the game since the rules came out?
