Re: How many MC would you give this corporation for it to be balanced?

First action every turn is already worth a lot in base game. But it’s worth *massive* amounts in Colonies. That first trade on the best colony (and denying it to your opponents) is huge.

I ditto whoever suggested vetoing this corp for “annoyance” reasons.

Re: Arena, more polite to concede or play it out?

IMO, the polite thing is to ask.

"Do you mind if I concede or do you want to play it out?"

I would personally agree on 3 though. Once you're in the final gen, you should just play it out regardless.

Re: Point Luna monster

Point Luna *can* be absolutely busted. But it can also flame out. Earth tags aren't actually that common in the deck. It's high potential but also inconsistent.

Vitor is powerful in every game, in most situations.

Re: TM is not a best 2Players game :( (nt)

When we say "X card is better than Y card" what we're really saying is "X card will win you more games". That's what "better" means. How do we know which players are better at winning games? ELO. That's what ELO *is*. So yeah. When the question is "which card is be...

Re: Faroe Strategy

Faroe has big potential. Definitely more than Shetland. But it's quite tricky to fill, and gives income mostly in oranges and reds which is much less flexible than money. I've made it work a couple of times such as here: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/3090789/a-win-with-faroe-against-the-reigning-...

Rank Evolution graph by # of games instead of over time

The current Rank Evolution graph is cool. But sometimes I'll play nothing for weeks/months/years and sometimes I'll play 10+ games in a single day. This can make the graph weird and unwieldy and difficult to read. My suggestion is to add a second graph where instead of showing ELO over the last, say...

Re: Best and Worst Corps discussion

In Order:

S-Tier) Credicor, Ecoline

A-Tier) Teractor, Cinematics, Mining Guild

B-Tier) Tharsis, Helion, Saturn, Thorgate

C-Tier) UNMI, Phobolog, Inventrix

But I should note I only play 2p so some of the precise orders might change based on experience.

Re: Best and Worst Corps discussion

There's only 12 corps, so ranking Thorgate 5th isn't exactly high praise. Just means it's not terrible.

I'd put it 7th personally, but either way the conclusion is that it's a pretty mid corporation.

Re: Banlist discussion for TfM

Some cards are much stronger than others, this is true. However they’re merely strong, not insurmountable. And there’s actually quite a few of them. There’s ~200 cards in corporate era, and about 10 I’d put at the top of a tier list. So that’s 5% of all cards in the deck. The fact that there’s so ma...
