Re: not the friendliest game?

First game played today: 10 doubles in 30 moves. Please calculate the odds of essentially doubling the expected 16.7% frequency of throwing any double given a pair of fair dice. Table #2611705031 if you want to take a look. I realize that statistics is all about larger numbers, but having played ne...

Re: differences between 1st and 3rd edition rules?

Surprised this hasn't been answered yet. AFAIK the difference between first and third editions is not the "how to play" rules/mechanics, but changes to some of the dogma actions. Here are a couple of examples: Oars: First edition: I demand you transfer a card with a <crown> from your hand ...

Re: EGGS HUNT ON BGA!

A couple of them reappeared in the same place that I had already seen them, but I don't think they were counted twice towards the 20. They can all be found through normal viewing of pages (no tricks) but you will need to look in lots of different places. They're all the same size and colour. Knowing...

Re: New: BGArm!

But...it's not April 1 yet... From what I can see, you posted that at 01:08 on 01 April 2021. Guess you forgot that people can be in different timezones, and each day starts earlier for most of the rest of the world than for you? I'm guessing you'd be a fan of the current United Nations proposal th...

I see this has been implemented for Cribbage as a personal preference. Would be great to see it expanded to other card games!

Re: No more gg please

Maybe see it as "good gaming (with you)", an acknowledgement that the other person has provided us an opportunity to play a game that we would otherwise not have had? I figure a little bit of politeness/civility never hurts, because I'm gratuitously assuming that the rest of you are real p...

Re: [suggestion] Timezones

Again, you're both assuming that someone's timezone is the primary factor in determining whether they'll be able to complete a game in a timely manner. But that assumption isn't correct. (It might be correct for some people, but not for all.) there is little chance this new feature would make things...

Re: [suggestion] Timezones

It really isn't necessary - and all it would do is make it harder to find opponents and start games. If you're playing a real-time game, why should it matter whether the other player/s is in a similar timezone to you or on the opposite side of the world? The players are all awake, online, ready to p...

Re: How can I avoid a player without using the red thumb?

When you red-thumb, a dialogue pops up asking whether you want to avoid the player, or whether everyone should. I think that if you choose the first option (just for me), then it doesn't affect their reputation.
