If game is NOT a friendly game, expect to be blocked PERIOD. Sorry but if you believe blocking is NOT viable option then you shouldnt play in TTR games. I suspect the 1912 part that was added was the different tickets and the 3 additional ways to play, like it's USA counterpart. you might want to add a bug report/feature for this. Well even the ability to click on a game icon and have that show the games being played or open tables is even "gone" and thus even open or collapse. And when i do click on a game icon on the Play Now page, the system acts like it is creating a game of it vs showing the open tables of that...

So there is some hope of seeing it implemented.
