Also an option to include spectators at the first turn would be nice as sometimes you start a game only to realise someone joined a second after you clicked agree...

I don't get your point.
Maybe I'm just too new to notice,
but doesn't having 100 TU vs like 5 TD still makes you an "Angel"? So why should it bother you having a few TDs?
