Re: Moving to next table now intermediate window appears

But in this instance, it's not BGA that want people to know about stuff that's why they didn't make it news, it's that people like Jest want to know a bit more information about the lower level modifications. For those people, they are OK about seeking out information, like the forums, or whatever o...

Re: Team games -- Equal placement=equal ELO?

As your ELO partner rating goes down (depending on who you partner ELO400, ELO300 ,ELO200,ELO100 - all different potential partners), your chances of winning also decreases. So in order to address the balance, when you partner ELO100, the ELO gain you need to get for a win needs to be higher simply ...

Re: Moving to next table now intermediate window appears

Maybe a flag in the Announcements forum that highlights which topics should become news.

Re: Team games -- Equal placement=equal ELO?

Silene is correct.
If the K factor is the same, then there is no reason why there should be an unequal share of points.

Re: Distinguish old and new card by animation?

Re: ELO calculation for joint placements.

Hi.

I see 2 potential problems with this.

1. Lewis & Clark doesn't have winners and losers, it has 1st, and 2nd, 2nd, 2nd.

2. People who win with high ELO should still potentially get points, not receive a bottom line of 0.

ELO calculation for joint placements.

https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=12256 With 52 votes and no official answer or comment, what exactly is going on with this? 2 of the newest games, THE WEREWOLVES OF MILLERS HOLLOW and NOT ALONE, amongst others are effected. It also seems like it might be an easy fix - don't calculate ELO changes be...

Re: exploiting bugs

Instead of feeling insulted for no reason, try to explain why it takes so long to solve clear bugs. You need volunteers, here I am! Tell me how to join so I can start solving those bugs. You need the BGA Studio As a extremely quick overview. BGA provide a framework, it's PHP for the server side log...
