Re: Streetcar

There is a thing called A* path search algorithm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A*_search_algorithm I remember watching a youtube video about it once. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySN5Wnu88nE&pp=ygUSYSogc2VhcmNoIGFsZ29yaXRt I had to do this for a hex map in my game Finity, but I came up with m...

Re: Should I change my project name before my first commit?

Is it the game name, or the project name?

If it's just the game name you are worried about, then I believe the admins can do that for you. And it will be your project name linked to the actual game on BGA. Just request it when going to Alpha.

Re: Anti-Aircraft: Rules versus Bugs

Refer to the AIRSPACE section on the how-to-play rules. There might be multiple ROF that can overlap. You cannot leave any ROF, if you do you are shot down. Otherwise you can perform Kamikaze.

Re: 🌿ELO System Updates

Come on BGA, shake a leg. It's close to ridiculous and extremely disrespectful just to leave your most devoted users hanging like this. Are you actually ghosting your own user base? Realise this is not just users and their normal whinging, but actually very clever people that are trying to help you....

Re: This implementation is horribly buggy, slow, and poorly designed.

With so many cards and variations, the fact that the game makes it out into the wild is really cool. Thanks for that :) Playing a fair number of solo games, things I have noticed that could be improved: There needs to be more client side 'cancel' buttons. All too often do I press the 'place a greene...

yes.

That's the general idea with the auction, to have a built-in leveling mechanism to make sure the game is fair.

Re: Concede threshold

No, you're more right with the chaotic nature of the game comment. It's not chess. Maybe 50% of games seem to be extremely one-sided with early points scoring and the game goes the way of the early leader. It's worth learning what those cards are and how they work. You're now better prepared, and re...

Re: Concede threshold

I had a game where I was on level 7 due to Mathematics, and my opponent was on Level 3.
At the time it felt like the most convincing lead I could possibly have.... I still lost.
