Re: Turn Order Advantage

I played 1 game of wolves 5-player. I romped home to an easy victory, because AFAIK - I had the final turn. The way the game works, you can build up to get extra actions fairly easily. So the last turn, you can get to 3 or 4 actions, maybe even 5. If you play last to trigger the end game, which is e...

Re: Board games about firefighting

In terraforming mars, you build cities, to then burn them down with asteroids and start fires to increase the temperature. You then buy water in the form of oceans to put the fire out, and make the air breathable again. You might need to use your imagination a bit, but otherwise an obvious fit. Here...

Re: Separate persistence layer

You can find it on BGA Studio (as with all the other projects), use the project page and FTP to get it. It's my usual hack and slash code style, but does the job for me. I don't use github, but there are a few developers that have shared a good deal of their code base on github. https://github.com/t...

Re: Separate persistence layer

You can create your own class and just inherit / extends APP_GameClass . Now you're free to use all the BGA DB functions. I have something I developed called DBSQL and DBTables in my AuntiieMildred project. modules folder. Map it directly to your own tables (DBTables) and expects an auto incrementin...
