Indeed, I'm pretty puzzled why Perlae Imperi is still in alpha. It works great and even in friendly mode finds plenty of players. I haven't played season for quite some time since I don't want to play without the expansion anymore...

I think this results from your opponent having to deal with the damage the same time you are preventing it and then getting some essence. So it isn't a bug, but I agree, it is problematic.
