You only get culture per production if somebody put "Impact of Industry" in the event deck. But you did not get your normal culture production from your last turn due to the uprising. That would have been 3 culture if I read the game log correctly.

I'm really looking forward to playing the advanced rules. I played a lot on yucata, but playing only the base game got boring after some time

Folks have asked for a Confirm button in certain other games (RfTG comes to mind), to allow undo.
