Board Game Arena

Not a fan of losing earned cells at the end of a run because the cards are locked until a new biome opens up. I just had a great run, lost against the concierge, tried to spend my 15 cells only to learn that I can't use them on anything. Is there a way to bank them or would that be too much trouble?...
