Nobody NEEDS to think more than 2 minutes for A move. People WANT to spend that long for THE PERFECT move. Again, arena is supposed to be competitive. If you want to spend 90 seconds thinking for a move, you're in the wrong mode.

Tapestry card AGE OF DISCOVERY should be at least rewritten. Maybe banned. For those who don't remember, card says: "Roll the science die. Everyone advances on the rolled track, but only you get the benefit/bonus" That one die roll late game can cause a loss of 50+ points (when you're forc...

If Arena's purpose is to be competitive playing, all Arena games played in real time should be automatically fast mode. There is no reason to leave 3 minutes for every turn. If you want extra time to think or learn the game, go simple game or turn-based.

The game is based on the movies, not on actual history!

I have played around 20 games so far on BGA. A 2-player game lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. A 3-player one between 60 and 100min. I haven't played with 4 or 5 players on BGA yet, but with the box it can last up to 3h. It all depends on how agile the players are.
