Tiebreak rule is a failure

If it isn’t an aspect of skillful play, shouldn’t break a tie. Better off just leaving it a tie rather than awarding it to a smaller number of available goals remaining. You would never keep track of this during a game and calculate for it playing to tie. Should at least be an option while setting u...

Re: TEXAS HOLD’EM: Deal Me In!

Why? Spend the resources improving the quality of the games you have instead making such a redundant offering. I might agree if this was the way BGA works. At least all newer games aren’t developed by BGA people, but by volunteer or freelance developers, the latter being paid not by BGA, but by the...

Re: Perfect game?

Yes, 50 is rare. 53 is my best (and the highest score I know of - there is a thread about it on Board Game Geek). 50 is 99th percentile.

Re: This site is so mediocre

Don't waste your time telling me that the site is good, actually. I said it was mediocre, not bad. I've both played a lot and paid a lot, and I would have done neither if the site was outright bad. The mediocrity is 100% the responsibility of the owners of the site. Obviously volunteers make nearly ...

This site is so mediocre

Games with reported bugs that go uncorrected for years. Absentee developers. More and more games with no improvements to what already exists. A ‘volunteer’ model with no accountability for the owners. Same pointless karma system for years and years. Sloppy and ill-thought out user interface and plac...

Arena Searches Are Broken

Arena searches are garbage. You wait forever and if you drift away because you've been waiting so long, a game starts and you get dinged. The experience just feels bad. In some cases, I've had an Arena search stay active while I am playing another game. Then when I've finished that game the search k...

Re: NEW: Arena mode (Season 0 - BETA)

The problem with Arena us that you have NO say on who you play and can't see who is available. I don't want to play the same person 3 times in a row!

Re: Introducing: new reputation system and Karma (☯)

Yes, this system is out of whack. Out of almost 1400 recent games I have inadvertently left a game or had the game ended by my opponent 18 times. The official percentage with the exact numbers is 98%. Now I have that happen twice within a month and i'm at 80%? Makes no sense.
