I don't know how many times I have been sitting, waiting for my opponent to move while they are in fact waiting for me to confirm my move. I think the inconsistency between placement and moving is a big part of this. Either they both should require confirmation or neither should require it.

Is it polite to say "gg" to a player that you just easily beat by 100 points? It might have been a good game for you but I highly doubt your opponent feels that way. I like the idea of saying "thanks for playing" or "congratulations," etc. I just lost a game of Hive to...
