Board Game Arena

This is only a guess:

If you are trying to join a table in simple mode but none are available, the site will tell you if there are people waiting in arena. Perhaps it is to allow people who wanted to play a simple game a chance to check out the arena game without committing?

What would be the difference with free or premium accounts? I think the point is the "disable chat without the ability to enable it." Meaning without the ability of the student to make changes to their own account settings. Something like parental controls. Afaik this is not an existing f...

Maybe you can put a red thumb (personal opinion, not the general one) to players you currently play with to avoid being matched with them. If you are initiating 4 games back-to-back, rather than 1 game every 6 hours for 1 full day, the table-matching algorithm has little choice but to place you at the same tables as someone else seeking 4 tables at once. There seems to be a problem on one of the servers. For example I was playing at https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=180529202 and we both (myself and other player) are getting "gateway timeout" and are unable to access the board or make moves.

Is it possible to tell who won or lost timed-out turn-based arena games?
