Re: Asteroid Mining Consortium

And that's why only being allowed to lay it on turn X+ (4 in our case) makes it a better card in the sense that it forces an actual decision, estimating who is ahead (in 3p+ games of course), instead of possibly just targetting a random opp. during the first gen

Re: Asteroid Mining Consortium

Re: Request: have "always 2 actions" as an option on async tournaments

Abtsein that is probably the perfect example, and why doing 2 actions can sometimes make it a better game, besides making it faster to play With original rules the best play is super obvious in 99% of the games, I guess anyone with 2 games of this can understand it.. so, no fun, right? Re: Asteroid Mining Consortium

in my group we have a house rule where you can only play it at gen 4 or later. makes it a lot less evil towards the poor guy that gets his prod takes imagine a 3p game, 1st gen you play this and have to pick 1 of them with barely any information on their strengths, it is basically a "screw a ra...

Request: have "always 2 actions" as an option on async tournaments

I've played this game a lot on async games with friends and we have a "house rule", always doing 2 actions at a time, which basically reduces the game duration in half Playing face to face it doesn't matter of course, and might also delay it compared to just letting people pass after the f...

Re: Is there a way to see what event cards were played throughout the game?

there was (maybe still working) an implementation that wasnt as pretty, but it basically took all the notes for you, so you could focus on the fun part so you could see, all the events YOU played that were still on the deck (and which of the 2, i think) all civ cards still on the deck (because both ...

Re: New “Auto” number of matches for Swiss Tournaments

we did that before, we would ask for who wants to play, and then set the number of rounds so we would get a guaranteed player with all wins this means for 16 players it would be 4 rounds (2^4) for 17 to 32 players it would be 5 rounds (because 2^5 = 32), etc but then we have to poll people, and some...
