I almost always play as the same color in real life games, so much so that it throws me off when someone else plays that color instead. If I could give a color preference, with priority over everyone donating less money than I, as a feature of club membership, that would probably cause me to donate.

It's a very thought-heavy game. For people who don't have all the cards & icons memorized, even the slowest real-time game is too strict.
