Re: Question on hotseat mode.

afaik, The host is the one who sets out the hotseats, and the hotseat player(s) must play at the host's PC.

So, if you want your two friends to play from one PC elsewhere one of them must host, which means they have to be premium, I think...

Re: Manawaker looking for testers for Dragon Line expansion

Okay so... After the patreon funding disaster last year, I lost a lot of funding (as did a lot of other Patreon artists) and fell below back below the Dragon Line expansion goal, so this project fell off the back of the back burner, and was totally stalled. BUT as of last week, my Patreon funding is...

Re: I'm going on a trip (9 days). Do I need to leave/ff all games?

You can use 'time jokers', those will bump all of your turn-based timers up by four days. You might have to log in part way through your trip to use another, you get four per year. They don't work on tourneys though. If you are in any tourneys then the trip to france is not free. it will cost you yo...

Re: A new version is released!

I wouldn't personally go so far as to say it needs to be changed back to the way it was. That's fogey-think. BUT I think it's important that the numbers not be on top of the cool new graphics.

Re: A new version is released!

I agree. It looks neat, and the new art is appreciated, but it is busier, and right now I feel like I'm taking longer to get the information I need than it used to. It may just be because I'm not used to the new graphics yet, but it might also be a bit to cluttered, with too many things on top of ot...

Re: Decrease ranking each day.

Also, you might try to remember (it seems I am reminding people of this weekly, at least): ELO is a not a competition. The point of ELO is to measure your skill in the game, to make sure you can be matched with others of similar skill. Your goal should not be a high ELO, it should be an accurate one...

Re: Political actions - Through the Ages

It's how the designers wrote the rules. During your civil turn, you can always go back to the beginning of you civil turn to try something different, presumably because it is so complex, but your political action is only ever one card. The undo feature is not there to correct mistakes, it's there to...

Re: Puerto Rico Current Role

It might help you understand what players' plans are, which can help you formulate your own plans. LIKE: If you see that the person who picked Mayor is the same as a person who has unemployed people, then you know that they are trying to hasten the end of the game, which can impact the way you play ...

Re: Conceding

Yeah, unfortunately in tourneys, where it's important to track not just the winner, but how many points they won by, conceding doesn't work. :/

Re: Puerto Rico Current Role

It's a good idea. In the rules the players take the little cards to put in front of them to mark their roles, then everyone can see at a glance who picked what and who is left to pick still. The BGA version would benefit from some similar visual cluing. If you stick this suggestion in the tracker, I...
