Board Game Arena

I have reported this in the bug system, but I'm getting no response and my time is running out for my turn. So I thought I'd try posting here as well to see if anything can be done.

I am trying to move my president in to Research Center with a shop and 3 assistants in there. No other president is there nor along my path. I get the following error: "Not enough yens/imports to pay the extra cost of technology." I hadn't even gotten to the "choosing a tech" par...
