Re: Where the people ?
One factor might be that there are more games, so the players are spread out between them. Another possibility is that it hasn't happened. That people complaining are those wishing to play games in formats that are not popular. As the games and formats expand it doesn't necessarily spread the playe...

Re: Reconsider Arena Rankings System
If I win against someone with ELO 200 I should always get the same points otherwise the system doesn't reflect abilities. That is a fundamental misunderstanding of how Elo works (its named after Arpad Elo, its not an abbreviation, so you don't capitalise it). What you are suggesting is completely w...

Re: Quit solo match?
Yeah, you just quit when you are playing in solo mode and nothing happens. I think, it might screw up the win rate on the stats page of your profile, but since nobody actually cares about that it doesn't really matter.

Re: Your server disconnected. I couldn't get back into the game.
So, interestingly, I got an email notification that states "we judged that you may have been forced to leave the game due to a BGA server issue; therefore, we have removed it and restored your Karma and the ELO lost due to this penalty." Then this should be a bug report not a forum post. ...

What are the odds that a conspiracy theorist will turn up and complain they rolled really well - zero apparently.

Re: Cheating in the arena
Calling players out by name in the forums has gotten previous posters moderated, you might wish to considering removing your post of your own volition. There is actually a good reason for that. A lot of forum posts that call specific players out for cheating are upon examination making entirely fals...

Re: LAGGY PLAYERS
What can be done about players who take the whole time to have their go and do it only seconds before timing out? I wonder what can be done about players who play good moves against me - people should only be allowed to do what I want. Seriously - a player can use the entire timer if they want, tha...

Re: Unfair Penalty
But both were interface problems, not connection problems. So I'd like to know how to protest a loss of reputation points when it's the game's fault. You can't. Create a bug report, switch to turn based, look at your connection, etc. But if you get penalties for this you just have to suffer the los...

Re: A better tiebreaker for unfinished Arena games?
It is important to remember that the clock is not intended to be used maliciously. How do you make the distinction? If you cannot make a firm distinction between two actions then its just you trying to impose your personal preferences on someone. For example in a tournament (rather than an Arena ga...

Re: A better tiebreaker for unfinished Arena games?
As I understand it, all unfinished games at the end of each. Arena season are decided by who has the most time remaining on their clock. Perhaps, but the FAQ specifically contradicts this. The FAQ says the player who has used the most thinking time loses, which, if correct, makes what your opponent...
