When playing asynchronously taking notes makes too much sense to not do it.
Disallowing knowing what is in your DC pile and draw pile is silly.

Players don't like eagles (free turns). Peacefull mode bring more of them at a cheap Price (hypnosis) so you probably won't see that mode in Arena. That is an interesting point. The non-peaceful mode seems annoying. I was surprised that it was the standard for Arena but I can see how the eagles are...

I have only ever played with the peaceful variant.
Do the Arena games ever use that?

One more for base only Arena play.
