OK it's interesting to know that you buy black cards sometimes. I'm still a bit hesitant haha.

White cards, on the other hand, always seem very good when I manage to get them.

There are many solitary/black cards for sale in the card tableau, do you ever buy any? The only time I have ever bought any was when I was stuck with so many fire varans I couldn't do anything else, and the black cards at least give decent bonuses. Maybe I'm just paranoid: should I buy them more oft...

When you have enough goods and sheep/cattle on the board, you can just click on your contract, and you'll be prompted to pick animals for slaughter. Yeah it's not super intuitive!
