Re: Pattern F is great

I don't care much about green and black. I agree. I think your original point was how to play this card. Either green or black is fine, and white is worse. So I agree with your original post. Imagine you are in this position, but it's your partner's turn, not yours. If they play white, and you have...

Re: Pattern F is great

I like the card the tall way, like you Romain, but I would turn it 180 degrees from how you suggest. Even though the far right path is pretty far away, I always like to aim my paths toward each other. Sometimes surprisingly, they do reach each other. Here are some other options, though all of these ...

Re: Where the people ?

The site was at it's best probably about 2019. Most changes in the last couple years are not good, or outright terrible. All I can figure is maintaining arena must take all the time of the entire staff.

Re: Where the people ?

I agree with the reasons stated above. But also, a few years ago when they started "Arena" it basically divided the the players for each game into 2 halves, that don't see each other. The players who only play regular games don't see players who only play arena and vice versa. Many of the ...

Re: How are the game forums sorted?

This might not be related, but about that same time a similar bug started on the suggestion pages. When you open a table, and try to send suggestions to other players to join your game, the first person receives the suggestion as they should. But if you try to send a suggestion to a second player, t...

Re: Pairs of Clues in games of 3 & 4 - How must the 2 words be?

I've played about 500 games. Seeing the same word pop up for the 50th time can make this game pretty stale. What keeps it fresh is using 2-word clues, and trying to find a new way to clue the same old words in a new way each time. If you just use the same few clues each time you see a given word, th...

Re: games in progress is less useful now

Ok, I didn't see the large view option. That does help. I still can't see the names of who is at the table and who is master or beginner without clicking on each name individually. So it's still less info than the old page...which was better. What was lacking from the old display?

games in progress is less useful now

The "games in progress" page was useful. When I'm about to start a table, I could look at that page and see if any games with the same settings I like are almost done. That gives me an idea if soe players ill be available soon. Now that it's changed, and I can't see the settings at any of ...

Re: 6 nimmt theoretical puzzle

I spent some more time on this, and thought I was close to a solution a couple times, but it is indeed impossible. I haven't spent any time trying to solve the absolute minimum points I could be forced to take, but I imagine it would be at least two rows of cards. You must have figured out a good an...

Re: 6 nimmt theoretical puzzle

So the riddle is: Is there a hand in 5p pro that is absolutely safe no matter what opponents play?

It seems like there should be a solution. But I messed around with this for about 20 minutes without solving it. Pro is so dynamic, it's tough to figure out. It's an interesting puzzle.
