For solo I would agree but not for multiplayer games. A card layed is a card played in multiplayer.

Couldn't do it here but we house rule it when we play for real at home. Instead of losing 10 VP when you cannot feed your meeples, you lose 5VP and one of your workers dies. The stone age was rough!!! ;)

That can only happen if you passed in Winter. If you accidentally click pass at the beginning of winter all your remaining meeples automatically get placed on the +1 liras spot immediately. All of them on that one click.
