Such a strange bug. I restarted my router multiple times thinking it was only my home wi-fi. Glad to see I'm not the only. I will play on mobile internet until this gets resolved.

For those that are unaware, the only browser that I found works is Opera. Mozilla and Chrome on Android are both causing the issue for me. I have tried Opera browser on Android and I am not seeing any issues. I am using this browser for now until we see a chrome fix. Feels just like Chrome. I added a shortcut on my homescreen and set it to receive notifications.

Firefox sadly sees the same issues as Chrome.

Btw we have one question for thoses who felt left behind: would an email about it have helped? I myself saw your Facebook post and programmed my calendar accordingly with a daily reminder and was extremely angry that the time zone wasn't specified so I missed out. I would have prefered you specify ...

I really wish they would have clarified the time zone. Being in EST, I also missed the first chest and discouraged that I won't be able to collect them all now. :'(
