you are correct in that people's own personal opinion of what warrants a thumbs down varies and it may not coincide with what the site developers had in mind, but also be mindful there are just 'those' people out there that do destructive-like things. I got a couple thumbs down that I can't think of...

I like the previous version. Because I have 15 of the games in the preferred list, this new interface makes a giant list on the top in a rather (IMO) tasteless graphicless list. The previous version was nice to see the icons (game boxes) and I did not find it the least bit hard to learn how to use. ...

Been wanting to play this but everyone always starts this game on game night without me

It would be nice to be able to see the thumbs up/down rating we give to other players in the open table games list so we can already see which players we personally enjoy playing with more/less without having to enter the table itself
