When you click to expell a player, the system give him 20s to make a move. If he do, the game continue. If not, he is explelled and you win.

One player lose 4 games on purpose in last hour of arena season so the other player achieved a place that would earn him an invitation to Hive World Championship. But they are different persons, no multi account.

There's other weird things in this game, you placed a grasshopper directly pinning his 3rd beetle and in the end you moved his beetle (and one of your reserve's beetles disappeared then).

I think it's random.
