Re: Scythe and Viticulture

Hi, As per BGA policy, it is indeed mandatory that the person that owns the licence authorize BGA to adapt it. For Scythe as the adaptation is made by a studio, I guess that they are paying them to do it, so from a realistic point of view, I doubt that they will authorize another adaptation as it w...

Captain Sonar

I would like to see the game Captain Sonar on BGA. It is a fun game, and it can be played in real-time which would make for a very interesting new style on BGA. Obviously you would have to restrict the real-time mode to real-time matches of the game, but it would be fun to see it on BGA, like I said.

Re: Scythe and Viticulture

Hi Scythe is already being adapter by Asmodée Digital, so from experience, they will not give an OK. Viticulture, maybe, but adaptation already exists also (even if rules are not enforced on Tabletopia I think) Look on the editor website, there is a link to "play online" Regards Oh ok, th...

Re: Language Level: For Admin

Hi, You cannot revert to blank, but you can copy/paste the original English string. Anyway if it's only two strings, it's not a big deal. Overall, it's better if translation is done by native language speakers and by people who know the game and own it and can refer to the rules officially translat...

Scythe and Viticulture

I don't know if it would be difficult acquiring the rights to digitally reproduce Scythe and Viticulture, but I think they would be great games to add to BGA.

Re: Language Level: For Admin

The rest is just my personal opinion... I think it somewhat depends on whether there's already others who are translating the Japanese and if they are able to keep up with it. If you do at least a pretty good job and it's helping because otherwise some things are not getting translated, I'd conside...

Re: Let prospective players know they can play games if they join a group.

This idea kind of reminds me of clans or something on other games. If you really thought this was a good idea, restricting table access to a certain group is very easy (you can do it in game lobbies). It is problematic though trying to get people to join your game from your group unless you make a p...

Re: Language Level: For Admin

Even though I'm not sure about this, one thing that I'm sure is that BGA has no actual way to catch that non-native-speakers, so it's more like an "agreement - please follow this for better experience to everyone" than "mandatory - if you are not native speaker, you are BANNED" ...

Language Level: For Admin

First off, I am an American and a native English Speaker. I have however learned Japanese formally in a classroom setting in college. I decided I would try to help translate to earn some gift points, but I had not read the rules beforehand. I didn't realize that BGA only wanted native speakers trans...
