Another cool idea would be faction bans in player order (Gaia Project has that).
Due to 4 player games it should probably not be possible to ban the same colored faction that has already been banned.
I think that might be my favorite request to be implemented, even better than auction.

The method to stop the cheaters is to simply.... stop the cheaters, not change the system for everyone. Implement detection algorithms that automatically flag weird behavior, enhance reporting mechanism to work with that framework and have people who will verify the cheating manually with an appeal ...

I noticed lately that the consecutive penalty most likely applies also to arena points. I was not able to 100% confirm this, but if this true, it is just sad. Please revert the changes. BGA needs some kind of true skill implementation tested, not random ELO changes nobody asked for.

I did loose elo and arena points as I was the slowest player at that table which I wasn't!

Another problem: in Season 15 you've added 1 league for each arena game. In this season people who were by the end of season 15 at that added league, didn't get their ranking reset and are currently leading arena.

Can you explain how turn based termination works? Because it clearly didn't work like written in the FAQ see the game here:

I got a game loss, despite having used way less time than the other player

The game has ended now, I won, you can see the thinking time. One of my opponents used 6 days, me and the other guy 2 days.

It switched to friendly mode, I lost elo, I calculated all the times for the players and the red player used almost twice as much time as me.
