This can happen. If there are hundreds of games played every day, these things are going to happen eventually. If you have a game of 72 moves, you can have any combination of dice rolls from 72 x 2 to 72 x 12. Most of the time it would be 2x2, 4x3, 6x4, 8x5, 10x6, 12x7, 10x8, 8x9, 6x10, 4x11, 2x12....

In 7 wonders, I lost 5 places on the ladder in gold league. How can I lose 5 places in a match? I thought, maximum one could gain/lose is 3.
