You're right, but I don't think that matters.
Even if there's only 1% chance to meet bad karma players,it doesn't mean I have to tolerate them.

Lots of new players don't even know how turnbased tables work.
So the best u can do now probably is raise ur karma limit to 85%.

So the other tile is wasted?

For fast turn based games only(8moves /day and above),there's playtime(12hour).For example :from 2am to 2pm. So from 2pm to 2am,the clock is frozen(doesn't decrease).

Didn't see clarification on rulebook.
