Nice to see an abstract featured here. They don't get nearly enough love in my opinion. In general I mean, not from BGA, as this is actually a place where there are a lot of them. Stealing mechanic completely ruins this game. Literally turns into who can get those cards before their opponent, aka whoever goes first. I think one of the big issues with the original Splendor is first player bias, but this takes it up to 50. IMO, at the very least, rules need to be changed that ...

The clue of the Hologram is actually to mess with your opponent's deck. I almost always take it, and have won several rounds with it.
