Board Game Arena

First time I manage to press the button, wait 30 seconds and no game...now I have to wait a whole hour and MAYBE get 1 game?! Let's say this works for other games but my guess is that real time hive arena games have dropped dramatically compared to before the change!

In that two minute window sure...but for hive where that two minute window is every hour it means I can get a game at most one per hour where as before 3-4 in an hour was doable...

Yesterday, old system managed to get 6 games of hive. Today new system tried once didn't get paired or something and rest of the time I missed the tiny window of opportunity however while looking over games in progress and recently finished there didn't seem to be any live hive arenas so for me this...

I for one quite liked the arena, only played Hive games but it seemed to bring more people to the game. Players that knew the game but were no longer playing Hive regularly started playing again motivated by the new ranking. That said one thing to improve is the split it creates in the player lobby ...

I completely agree with this, for real time games, going over time should be an automatic loss but with no "leave" penalty. It should work just like a resign from the player out of time

I was under the impression that arena was limited to 100+elo. I just played a game of Hive with arena turned on vs someone who was playing their first game on the site, they still had the text under their name with this is my first game..
