Re: Check-folders

In a game just now, had another one of these absolutely ludicrous players, who paid to see the flop then immediately folded a check, not once but three times. Then they went all-in with 35o and got two pair. This is extremely suspicious.

Check-folders

The problem of people folding when they can check continues. If it is being done by mistake, then change the game interface *urgently* to warn people not to do it, or prevent it entirely. It is absolutely preposterous that someone is doing this in every game that I play. I begin to think, though, th...

Can't ever view final situation

Once the game is over, some faulty logic tries to do something to a page element that no longer exists. It says "Error loading the game! We have been notified." but clearly no-one has been notified because it's been this way since I first played the game on here more than two years ago. I ...

Re: Players folding on free checks

If you folded on a check in a casino, you'd be laughed off the table. Some poker games don't even allow it. So I do find it very funny that some people really apparently think they are playing some wily game by doing it. Jol_'s summary of why not to do it is very good.

Re: Players folding on free checks

That's insane. The cost of throwing away hands when you don't need to far outweighs the cost of other players seeing what you had. If you are that worried about other people seeing what you were playing with, you should have folded pre-flop.

Re: Chinese numbers accounts

Aha OK, thanks for that info. That pattern makes sense at least then!

Re: Chinese numbers accounts

Another strange pattern - I've seen at least six Chinese accounts in recent days with names of the form [adjective]-[animal][2-3 digit number]. They play mostly poker, and sometimes play at the same tables but not with such overlap that I would suspect game-rigging. If they were cheating you'd think...

Re: Players folding on free checks

I continue to encounter this phenomenon in most games. Last night I encountered a player who raised by 10 pre-flop, then folded when first to act after the flop. Again I wonder - are there any other games on BGA where so many players do something so obviously absurd, or is it only in this one game? ...

Chinese numbers accounts

Most games, there is someone playing whose username is just a string of 8 or 9 numbers and who is from China. I do not seem to see them in other games, only in poker. This seems extremely strange. Anyone know what the deal is with these accounts? Do the numbers have some kind of meaning? If not, why...
