Highest last place score? Highest combined score?
I just finished this game, where the last (4th) place finisher ended up with 62 points, and the total combined score for the four of us was 263. https://boardgamearena.com/gamereview?table=487671169 I was fortunate enough to come back to win, as I was the last to reach 40 points. Has anyone seen suc...

Re: Could this be the highest Spades score in BGA history?
I think I figured out the highest theoretical final score for a Spades game here. 889-859. How did I get that? It starts with the score being 499 to 498. Both teams then have one 6 bid and one nil bid and all bids are made. The team that started at 498 gets the bag, giving both teams a score of 659....

Could this be the highest Spades score in BGA history?
I present to you, a Spades game with the final score of 695-685. https://boardgamearena.com/8/spades?table=461626054 The score going into the second-to-last hand was our opponents' 495 vs. our 425. I bid nil with my partner (GusyGus) bidding 5. Our opponents bid 8. We all got our bids, resulting in ...

Re: The worst Yahtzee I’ve ever played.
I beleive it's on your 9th game, that you're guaranteed to win the game and get yahtzee. But if you're playing some else that also lost 8 games in a row, then you both just don't stop getting Yahtzee, one after each other, every turn and it all gets a bit messy, It's at this point you may have to a...

Re: Stop forcing half game progress before possibility to give up
I think the percentage should not be universal, but the way BGA is set up makes it that way. For some games, the argument can be made that if the first half is lopsided in the favor of one player/team, then the second half being lopsided in the favor of the other player(s)/team is possible, thus eve...

Progression %
I'm playing a turn-based game, and I noticed the "Progression %" shown in the top left corner is way off, at least early on in the match. So far, I have made one move, and my opponent has yet to make their first. But yet, the Progression % says we are 31% of the way through the game! I kin...

Re: What's your record?
I was rather happy with this 640 I just had where I scored in every row that I opened (https://boardgamearena.com/1/cantstopex ... =278875781#), but now I see I still have some work to do.

Can someone explain the logic of this tournament bracket?
I was in the Draftosaurus tournament linked here: https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=116279 There were nine players, and the matches have four players each, so one received a first round bye. That is understandable. What I don't understand is that I won my first round match, but yet the other ...

Re: Arena - Guaranteed point with win
It appears that there is an opponent level setting in the advanced settings, but that still doesn't eliminate the problem of there being times where there is absolutely nothing to gain by playing. Yes, it does exactly eliminate there being times where there is nothing to gain. If you win against a ...
