I'm very upset about not allowing spectator chat, it was one of our favorite features. I'm a Premium member and have brought many, many friends to this site who are also now Premium members. We do a lot of tournaments and it was our favorite thing to be able to watch each other's games and cheer one...

That was my guess, thanks for the reply! I think I need to just do a Swiss style tournament instead.
