Re: I am so annoyed by this 3 points robber thing
Well, you could just honor the rule (it does make sense btw., robber is too strong in early game) and you would have fun playing again. That's what i love about Catan, it's not only a game, it's also about human nature and being nice to each other actually helps you win sometimes. I also fully disa...

Re: Latest update
Nice job with the doubling cube and the UNDO button, but I have one reflection with doubling, that the player who is 1 away to the score can't double after crawford game. Why should they want to? I think tetrisz meant that the BGA implementation allows you to double even if you are only 1 point awa...

Re: forfait backgammon
Thank you, I did not know that the progress bar seems to work as it should for 5point matches.
Looks like the implementation tries to include pip count in some rare cases. Since 1 point matches (Arena,...) are still the majority here the current state is clearly not as it should.

Re: forfait backgammon
Hopefully the progress bar will be working again soon... It looks like the progress bar IS working (and maybe your already know this), but it appears to be based on % of points the leading player has compared to points needed to win. So in a 5 pint match, of the meaning player is at 3, progress is ...

Re: forfait backgammon
I usually resign a gammon if I have not yet moved off a checker - even if I know that I would lose only a single game if I played on. Some opponents care about winning 2 points even if it does not have any impact on ELO. And others just want to move off all their checkers to fully enjoy their win. H...

Re: Why do people refuse a forfeit in Backgammon?
Not being able to concede was a bug with the progress bar. This bug has been fixed now - I have already conceded games and in my most recent game (#499190849) my opponent just conceded. If you resign via flag this should also be automatically accepted if you resign the maximum. However cares should ...

Re: Latest update
As I have described in my previous post, the confirm button is already now in the middle of the board! Just click on the dice after you made your moves and the moves are confirmed... From my one game yesterday the Undo / Confirm buttons displayed above the board. I’m cautious to try playing again o...

Re: Latest update
In the last 2 years I played a lot of Backgammon (the old version) and a lot of backgammonmatchplay (the new version) side-by-side. Thus I am used to both versions and had to mentally switch back and forth all the time. Of course I have no problems to adapt now. That being said, I was always finding...

Re: Latest update
Re using ‘setup’ I simply didn’t have the time with the game clock already running down to fiddle around with screen size, and the other options. I nearly ran out of time as it was having to scroll back up the screen each turn to find and click the ‘confirm’ button. As someone else suggested, havin...
