Re: 2 player

That's interesting, when my spouse and I have played it two-player, it's taken about 5 minutes per game. We use the "quitting" ability a lot, so maybe that's why our two-player games go fairly fast.

Re: dice

Yes! Every die has these faces:

1 red star, 1 red moon, 1 red kite
1 blue star, 1 blue moon
1 yellow star

You can also see a rough sketch of the die faces if you scroll down below the playing area during a game (I put it there! 8-) )

Re: Questions I should not have at this point in my BGA history

using the 'rematch' function does still carry over the settings and restrictions from the previous game, I believe. That hasn't been my experience-- at a family game-night one of the players I invited to a rematch was slow to confirm, and we had a stranger join the table instead (I booted them out ...

Re: Games wanted for BGA / Jeux demandés sur BGA

I saw at BGG that the designer of Euronimoes is interested in having it made available at BGA. Euronimoes is a great tableau-building game for 2-4 played with one or two sets of standard double-six dominoes (one set for two players, two sets for 3-4 players) and a handful of tokens. Quite different ...

Re: There should be a category for Disliked games.

I'm sympathetic to this idea, mainly because ever since I joined, there's one game that's pretty much always in my "Based on the games you like, we suggest that you try:" category, and I've played that game in person, and I didn't like it and I'm not playing it again. So it's annoying that...

Re: Wizard is now in Alpha

I haven't gotten to try it here yet, but I looked at the table settings and I would love to have one or more options for a shorter game. My husband and I have owned a copy (US Games Systems edition) for years, and we typically play ten hands no matter what player count we have.

Re: If u use bug section-> bga website, it's almost useless.

It hasn't been my experience that it's useless. I've reported an issue with a game that got fixed even though it only had one thumb (mine). Another issue I reported on a different game got a small number of other thumbs (4 total) and was fixed. When people are considering making a bug report of thei...

Re: Why is the card SO TINY when revealing opponent's hand?

I agree 100%. We own two commercial physical copies of this game (Legend of the 5 Rings and Letters to Santa), but the copy we've played with most is one I put together from a partial Star Trek Uno deck I thrifted :D . In short, we know the game well, but we are not very familiar with the cards as t...

Re: Group privacy problem

My feed is dominated by comments in a group that I'm not a member of. I see these comments because I'm BGA-friends with someone who is a member of the group, and who's a friendly-but-not-close acquaintance of mine in real life (we're in the same offline game group from before covid-19, and we've pla...
