Re: Major connectivity issues to bga in the past week or two

HEY EVERYONE! GOOD NEWS for those doing turn-based games.... I figured out that I could access the games themselves, but not the "Games in Progress" webpage. So as long as I just went from one game to another, I could still play the games that were already started. Just look up one of the ...

Re: Scrap Game Gurus

Where can you see what you're a guru for? I just got the following message in my finished games queue: Thank you for having been a guru for Roll for the Galaxy. Now is the time for other Gurus to take over. You can become a Guru again by playing a lot! 1 h 30 m ago" I had NO IDEA I had been sel...

Re: Non-playing Player who has signed up for A LOT of tournaments

I've given this some thought - I think that players should get automatically withdrawn from a tournament if their ratings goes to 0% and a new game is about to begin with them in it. That would solve this problem after they miss a certain number of games, and it would also allow for people who only ...

Non-playing Player who has signed up for A LOT of tournaments

Is there any way to get someone removed from tournaments? FunWithFlags has 307 turn-based games going most or all of which are tournament games and hasn't logged in for 9 days. Great way to ruin hundreds of other player's games. :( * *Moderation Edit: please do not use the Forums to call players out...

Re: The new look is really bad

Agree with wanting the orange and green bars back - they are a great visual indication of when I have a game. They help when I want to read mail while waiting for my turn-based games to become my turn - I put about 1" of the page visible to the right of whatever else I'm working on. Same if I'm...

Water proof or water resistant tablets that work well for BGA

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for a water proof or water resistant tablet that isn't too expensive (preferably around 150 US$ purchasable in the US) that works well for BGA?

Re: Cheating

Agreed that it's very poor sportsmanship.

The chess analogy only works if it's a real-time game. In turn-based, people's time zones and how the turns are ordered make a huge difference.

Re: Tournament started, but not games were created

What's weird is it's allowing registration for both tournaments too.

I have to run - I created a bug report for us:

Re: A combination of an odd number of players in a two-player Swiss draw match.

The system creates a bunch of 2 player games, and one person each round is given a pass.
