I think you need to reread the rules again. From the rules “ Whether the bet has been won or lost, the challenger is the first player for the next round, which starts again at phase 1.” So if a challenger loses they still go first. When dealing need cards to players, how is the card deck handled? Is the entire deck shuffled each round? Or does the implementation keep track of the cards that have been played, and set those aside. Only adding the discarded cards and shuffling whenever there are no more cards in the deck?

What would it take to implement the expansion Late Preclassic Period on BGA. I think the publishers are willing to let BGA put this out, how can BGA get this started?
