Re: Formula D

Will the championship(s) be commencing soon? If so will I have to join Discord? The reason I say that is that I'm not that computer literature and messed up ages ago trying to join Discord and it seems to no longer let me even try! (No laughing out there :D ) I was in European Inter Series B (Which ...

Re: Formula D

Could you add me to the Alpha test group please. I'm okay for 4 turns a day.

Kind Regards.

Re: Lost Planet: what to do when you can't place it.

I haven't used the Lost Planet before, so I assumed the highlighted areas where the ones I was allowed to place it.

Your reply made me look again and now it's okay, thank you.

Lost Planet: what to do when you can't place it.

Hi Gaia community, I've increased tech to level 4 to place the lost planet and now discover there isn't anywhere I can place it. I've not got any QIC's to extend beyond range 4 and the placement options I've been given are not within 4 hexes of any of my empire. Unfortunately, this means that it is ...

Re: Problems with Die Rolls disparity.

My final post on this. The odds of 7 6's being rolled are 279,936 to 1. (Yes, the odds of the next dice roll being a 6 is still only 1 in 6) However, that fact is me being stupid apparently. Having a baseless conspiracy, when in fact I never mentioned anything about a conspiracy theory in any of my ...

Re: Problems with Die Rolls disparity.

As I expected, the BGA random die roll generator is perfect, reply. So now I'm rude, inappropriate and deserving of condemnation and criticism! Clearly I'm some sort of monster, when all I'm saying is there may be an issue. I want BGA to be excellent and I think that the random number system needs l...

Re: Problems with Die Rolls disparity.

I did say quite some time ago I wouldn't post anymore on this topic. But the game I'm currently playing 188473868 has seen the German player 'roll' seven 6's in a row!! Apparently the probability of that is 0.0003572. So once again, I say will someone please check the supposedly random die roll gene...

Re: Problems with Die Rolls disparity.

I'll make one final comment on this profoundly flawed random die roll system. The one that is so perfect and so flawless that nothing could be wrong with it. (King's new clothes) My two opponents are fed up with getting all those successes on the dice, because they can see it makes the game meaningl...

Re: Problems with Die Rolls disparity.

Yes I have seen disparities in my yes 35 years of wargaming, (Although you seem to think I'm lying about that) But they are very rare, they don't continue over more than half a dozen die rolls. You seem to think that the evidence I've presented of actual die rolls is irrelevant (I can give you the g...

Re: Problems with Die Rolls disparity.

Just to let you know, that I don't like posting about the die roll disparity and yes I did notice it because I was on the receiving end of the rolls, but, if I was the recipient of the rolls I still wouldn't like it, because it makes the outcome of the game utterly meaningless. Woohoo! I won, nothin...
