Re: Summer Of Games 2021: No sand in the eyes!

It shows Chinese Checkers. What I meant to say was that yesterday there was a gift (gold digger with plastic shovel), but today nothing. I might be misunderstand though and perhaps the gift was for the first day only. In that case, there is no problem! :)

Re: Summer Of Games 2021: No sand in the eyes!

Thanks for this. I don't see a gift for today (2nd July), however. It sort of spins to open the chest but nothing is revealed (?).

Yams - the record scores thread

Yams is a great variant of Yahtzee, in my view; there's slightly more decision making and the two 'throwaway' turns (Plus and Minus) give more scope to deal with bad throws. I calculate the highest possible score is fixed at 530, it being lower than regular Yahtzee because there is no 'joker' bonus'...

Scoring in solo games?

For example in the game below she scores 6pts on the very first turn. I don't see how this is possible, when you only have 5 car...

Re: Amazing vocabularies

Continuing the above, the only thing I can suggest is having some sort of separate BGA league or group for people who can verify their real life WESPA / NASPA / ABSP Scrabble rating. I've no idea how practical or desirable that is, though.

Re: Amazing vocabularies

There are some legitimate good players on here with competitive Scrabble records to match it. TrentonTron who you mention is one of them; I am another, having played for UK at three World Scrabble Championships (2003, 2005 and 2011)... and another regular Letter Tycoon player here is a former World ...

Re: Saboteur 2: Discard 2 to remove 1?

I don't understand this either. When playing Saboteur 2, if you select 2 cards it says you discard 2 but reduce your hand size by 1. However this doesn't happen; it's exactly the same as discarding 1 or 3. You simply get the same number of cards back again. Can someone explain what is supposed to h...
